     Ignace Pépin was born on 1 September 1660 at Quebec, Quebec.1 He was the son of Antoine Pépin dit Lachance and Marie Teste.1 Ignace Pépin was baptized on 16 September 1660 at Quebec, Quebec.1 He married Marie Madeleine Gaulin, daughter of Francois Gaulin and Marie Rocheron, on 27 January 1687 at Ste-Famille, Isle-de-Orleans, Quebec; Ignace Pepin, 25 was married to Marie Madeleine Gaulin, 22. Her father, Francois was deceased, but the family was of Ste-Famille.1
