     Elisabeth Pépin was baptized on 16 February 1662 at Chateau-Richer, Isle-de-Orleans, Quebec; Antoine Pepin, Marie Teste and Elisabeth were residents of Ile D'Orleans.1 She was the daughter of Antoine Pépin dit Lachance and Marie Teste.1 Elisabeth Pépin married Olivier Gaignon, son of Louis Gaignon and Marie Michel, on 8 November 1679 at Ste-Famille, Isle-de-Orleans, Quebec.1
