Chlodio of the Salian Franks was born circa 395 at Cologne, Noth Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.1 He was the son of Pharamond of the Franks. Chlodio of the Salian Franks married Basina de Saxe, daughter of King Weldelphus of Thuringia, circa 413. Chlodio of the Salian Franks died between 445 and 448 at Cambrai, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France.1
