Hix Salls was born circa 1797. He was the son of Enoch Salls and Rebecca Filer. Hix Salls married Hannah Moore, daughter of Nicholas Moore, on 14 May 1820 at St Armand West, Missisquoi Co, Quebec; St Armand West (Phillipsburg) Church. Hix Salls died on 2 May 1831 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.¹ He was buried on 4 May 1831 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.
