     Rev. William Perkins was born on 25 August 1607 at All Hallows, Bread Street, London, England.2 He married Elizabeth Wooton on 30 August 1636 at Roxbury, Suffolk Co, Massachusetts.2 Rev. William Perkins died on 21 May 1682 at Topsfield, Essex Co, Massachusetts, at age 74.2
     William Perkins had arrived in America in 1632 on the "William & Francis". He was admitted to Emmanuel College, Cambridge, in 1624, matriculated at Cambridge at Michaelmas 1625, migrated to Christ's College and received his B.A. 1627-8. He first lived in Roxbury, followed by Weymouth 1643, Gloucester 1651, and Topsfield 1655.2
