     John French was baptized on 26 May 1622 at St Edmund's Parish, Assington, Suffolk, England.1 He was the son of Thomas French and Susan Riddlesdale.1 John French married Freedom Kingsley circa 1654 at Rehoboth, Bristol Co, Massachusetts. John French died on 1 February 1697 at Northampton, Hampshire Co, Massachusetts, at age 74.
