     Robert Alexander Howard was born on 14 December 1868 at Port Greville, Cumberland Co, Nova Scotia.2,1 He was the son of David Shank Howard and Clara Smith.1 Robert Alexander Howard married Annie Theresa Payzant on 2 December 1908 at Falmouth, Hants Co, Nova Scotia.3 Robert Alexander Howard died on 4 August 1952 at Amherst, Cumberland Co, Nova Scotia, at age 83; Robert had been a postmaster.4 He was buried on 6 August 1952 at Methodist Cemetery, Parrsboro, Cumberland Co, Nova Scotia.4
