     Clarence Lester Covey was born on 25 July 1882 at Westford, Chittenden Co, Vermont.2,3,4 He was the son of Augustus M. Covey and Armina Coffren.1 Clarence Lester Covey married Mary J. Longe on 30 June 1908 at Waterbury, Washington Co, Vermont.2
     On 12 September 1918, Clarence Lester Covey, aged 36, registered for the draft in Vermont. He was a painting contractor, with brown hair and eyes.4
