     Charles H. Covey was born on 15 May 1882 at Cambridge, Lamoille Co, Vermont.2,3,4 He was the son of Henry Nelson Covey and Rosanna Cook.1 Charles H. Covey married Cathleen M. Sears on 11 February 1908 at Burlington, Chittenden Co, Vermont; It was performed by a Catholic priest.2 Charles H. Covey died on 9 February 1946 at Ottawa, Ottawa Co, Ontario, at age 63.3,4 He was buried on 12 February 1946 at Mountain View Cemetery, Cambridge, Lamoille Co, Vermont.3,4
     According to family records,Charles was a successful bridge builder who worked mostly in Canada as he was the President of Dibble Construction, Ltd., and Preseident of the Ontario Roadbuilding Association. He had graduated from People's Academy in Morrisvile, VT and the University of Vermont.5
