John W. Covey

     John W. Covey was born circa 1885 at Vermont.¹ He was the son of Gilbert Henry Covey and Mary Amanda Smith.¹ John W. Covey married Sadie B. Eryou, daughter of William E. Eryou, on 17 October 1907 at St Johnsbury, Caledonia Co, Vermont.¹ John W. Covey died on 20 November 1947 at Waterbury, Washington Co, Vermont; John W. Covey was 75, and his residence was Lunenburg at th etime of his death.²
     He appeared on the census of 21 April 1910 at Cambridge, Lamoille Co, Vermont; John W. Covey, 25, wife Sadie B., married 2 years; father Henry G. Covey, 68 and mother Mary L., 68, married 51 years; brother George L., 29 and his wife Avis L., 20, married 3 yrs. They were living four households away from Gilbert Covey, 33.¹ He appeared on the census of 8 January 1920 at Lunenburg, Essex Co, Vermont.³ He appeared on the census of 3 April 1930 at Lunenburg, Essex Co, Vermont; John Covey, and wife Sadie, both 48, married 24 yrs, Bert, 19, and mother Mary, 83, widowed, all born Canada.⁴
