     John M Spangler, husband of Martha Tryon served in Company C, 7th Iowa Cavalry. His records indicate that he died 12 November 1913 in Los Angeles, California. In 1900 Census, the family was living in NEVADA/Lyon County/Mason Valley having returned to the US from South America. In 1910 they were in CALIFORNIA/Los Angeles County/Eagle Rock.3 He appeared on the census of 8 June 1900 at Mason Valley, Lyon Co, Nevada; John Spangler, 53, Martha A., 35, married 18 years, had 8 children, 5 living: William T., 16, Harrietta M., 12, Susie M., 8, Martha A., 5, and Avis B., 2.1 He appeared on the census of 1910 at Eagle Rock, Los Angeles Co, California; John M.
