     William R. Ridgeway was born on 5 October 1852 at Burke, Franklin Co, New York.1 He was the son of John Hamilton Ridgeway and Lydia Wheeler.1 William R. Ridgeway married Nancy Rachael Lyons on 25 December 1873 at Chatsworth, Livingston Co, Illinois.1 William R. Ridgeway died on 12 February 1924 at Phoenix, Maricopa Co, Arizona, at age 71.1 He was buried on 17 February 1924 at Greenwood Cemetery, Phoenix, Maricopa Co, Arizona.1
