     Sarah Jane Curtis was born on 22 June 1822. She was the daughter of Daniel Curtis and Rebecca Salls. Sarah Jane Curtis married Amasa Gay Grandy, son of Jonathan Grandy and Persis Gay, on 10 March 1859. Sarah Jane Curtis died on 11 May 1881 at Norfolk, St Lawrence Co, New York, at age 58; She was aged 57 years, 10 months and 19 days, according to the death notice.1 She was buried on 15 May 1881 at Bixby Cemetery, Norfolk, St Lawrence Co, New York.1
