     Hugh Caulkins was born before 8 April 1603 at Waverton, Cheshire, England.1 He was baptized on 8 April 1603 at Waverton, Cheshire, England.1 He was the son of Rowland Calkins and Ellen Payne.1 Hugh Caulkins married Ann Eaton in 1622 at Monmouthshire, Wales. Hugh Caulkins married Margaret (?) on 13 February 1624/25 at Waverton, Cheshire, England.1 Hugh Caulkins died in 1689/90 at Norwich, New London Co, Connecticut.
     Hugh Caulkin was admitted freeman in Gloucester in 1642. By 1651 he moved on to New London and then Norwich, Connecticut.2
