Platt Palmer

     Platt Palmer was born on 22 March 1825 at Stockholm, St Lawrence Co, New York.¹ He married Mary Curtis, daughter of Daniel Curtis and Rebecca Salls, in 1851.¹ Platt Palmer died on 7 March 1909 at Stockholm, St Lawrence Co, New York, at age 83; Platt Palmer was a well-respected citizen of Stockholm, who was a farmer and raised horses. He was a member of the Brasher Methodist Church.

He leaves a son and several grandchildren. Two of his grandchildren were enroute from "Dakota" but he passed away before they arrived.¹ He was buried on 9 March 1909 at Brookdale Cemetery, Lot 23, Section A, Row 3, Brookdale, St Lawrence Co, New York.¹
