     Thomas Thomas was born on 13 March 1747/48 at New Haven, New Haven Co, Connecticut.1 He was the son of Charles Thomas and Lydia Auger.1 Thomas Thomas was baptized on 8 May 1748.1 He married Mary (?).1 Thomas Thomas died on 8 July 1831 at Mispec, Saint John Co, New Brunswick, at age 83; "On Friday last at Mispec of apoplexy, under which he lingered 18 days, Thomas Thomas Sr, in the 85th year of his age. Mr. Thomas came to this country at the end of the Revolutionary War, in 1783 and during upwards of 40 years residence in this city, maintained the character of and honest and industrious mechanic. About 8 years since, he removed to Mispec, where several members of his family had previously settled."2
     Thomas was part of the Loyalist evacuation from New York with the June fleet. He was a silversmith and departed on 16 Jun 1783 on the Hopewell, and landed in Saint John on 5 July 1783. The were 105 passengers on that sailing.
