     Vita Thornton was born on 27 October 1900 at Carleton Co, New Brunswick.1 She was the daughter of Amasa Edward Thornton and Florence Elizabeth Daley.1 Vita Thornton married Perry G. Thornton on 16 June 1917 at Carleton Co, New Brunswick; The writer is not sure that this is the correct marriage, due to the 20 year age difference in the couple.2
