Harriet Pamelia Salls

     Harriet Pamelia Salls was born on 9 September 1838 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.¹ She was the daughter of Isaac Salls and Rachel Spear. Harriet Pamelia Salls was baptized on 2 September 1854 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.² She married Adam J. Taylor on 12 April 1871 at Georgeville Methodist Church, Georgeville, Stanstead Co, Quebec; Amelia and Adam were both of Magog when they married.³ Harriet Pamelia Salls died on 20 May 1871 at Fitch Bay, Stanstead Co, Quebec, at age 32; Her death was recorded as "at her residence near Fitch Bay..." at age 23. Going by her baptism, if this is the Amelia who married Adam J. Taylor, she would have been 33. Since Harriet Pamelia's brother Stephen and his wife Frances witnessed the event, this writer (PWW) feels strongly they are one and the same, and the age at death is in error.^4,5 She was buried on 22 May 1871 at Fitch Bay, Stanstead Co, Quebec.⁴
