     Charles Cox was born on 5 August 1818 at Quebec.2,3 He married Sarah Randall. Charles Cox married Chloe Miranda Wait, daughter of Enoch Wait and Margaret Patterson, after 1876 at Quebec.2 Charles Cox died on 12 December 1905 at Stanstead Co, Quebec, at age 87.4 He was buried at Massawippi Cemetery, Massawippi, Stanstead Co, Quebec.4
     He appeared on the census of 1881 at Hatley, Stanstead Co, Quebec; Charles Cox, 59, Miranda, 46, Lillian, 10 and Emma Wheeler, 22. The family were all b. Quebec and Adventist.2 He appeared on the census of 1901 at Stanstead, Stanstead Co, Quebec; Charles Cox, 82, Maranda, 65, along with George Baldwin, boarder, 36.3
