Ellsworth H. Sunbury

     Ellsworth H. Sunbury was born on 2 June 1872 at Quebec.^1,2,3 He was the son of William Hiram Sunbury and Frances C. Wait.¹ Ellsworth H. Sunbury married Georgiana Haines, daughter of Samuel Haines and Sarah (?), on 10 October 1894 at Bolton, Worcester Co, Massachusetts; Ellsworth was aged 22 and Georgianna was 23.^2,4 Ellsworth H. Sunbury died on 3 March 1935 at Middlesex Co, Massachusetts, at age 62.³ He was buried at Tewksbury Cemetery, Tewksbury, Middlesex Co, Massachusetts.³
     He appeared on the census of 18 June 1900 at Tewksbury, Middlesex Co, Massachusetts; Ellsworth H. Sunbury, 27, wife Georgina, 29, married five years, two children: Gladys R., 4 and Herbert, 3. Living with his family were his parents and their younger children. Ellsworth had arrived in the sattes in 1893, while his wife had arrived in 1887.² He appeared on the census of 15 April 1910 at Main Street, Tewksbury, Middlesex Co, Massachusetts; Ellsworth H. Sunbury, 38, Georgina, 39, Gladys R., 14, Herbert E., 12, Harry A., 9, Kenneth A., 7, and Frances B., 3/12. They had five children and all were living.⁵ He appeared on the census of 8 January 1920 at Main Street, Tewksbury, Middlesex Co, Massachusetts; Ellsworth H. Sunbury, 48, Georgianna, 49, Harry A., 20, Kenneth A., 17, Frances B., 10 along with his parents, William H., 79, Frances, 65, and father-in-law, Samuel Haines, 75, born England.⁶ He appeared on the census of 5 April 1930 at Wildwood Street, Chelmsford, Middlesex Co, Massachusetts; Ellsworth H. Sunbury, 57, Georgiana, 58, Frances, 20, Samuel Haines, father-in-law, 85, Fred Tromblay, son-in-law, 43, and Gladys Tromblay, 34. and Marjory V. Slade, 13, born NH, lodger.⁷
