     Mary Louisa Colton was born on 13 August 1848 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 She was the daughter of William Colton and Mary Scott. Mary Louisa Colton was baptized on 10 September 1853 at Clarenceville Methodist Church, Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 She married Oscar F. Partlow, son of Joseph M. Partlow and Nancy A. Scott.2 Mary Louisa Colton died on 30 October 1929 at Woodburn, Marion Co, Oregon, at age 81.2 She was buried on 2 November 1929 at Belle Passi Cemetery, Woodburn, Marion Co, Oregon.2
     She and Oscar F. Partlow appeared on the census of 17 June 1880 at Cedar, Cherokee Co, Iowa; Oscar Partlow, 35, Mary, 30, both b. Canada, Joseph, 10, b. New York, and Minnie, 8, b. Iowa.3
