Caroline Phoebe Adams

     Caroline Phoebe Adams was born circa 1844.² She was the daughter of Daniel Adams.¹ Caroline Phoebe Adams married George K. Wells in 1863.³ Caroline Phoebe Adams married Micajah Townsend Tryon, son of Benjamin Tryon and Hannah A. Salls, in 1895; After their marriage, they lived in a house on East Main Street in one one of the houses built by him until his death in 1902.³ Caroline Phoebe Adams died on 30 December 1932 at Winthrop Hotel, Winthrop, St Lawrence Co, New York; Carrie Tryon had been a member of the Brasher Methodist Church. After breaking her hip some years earlier, she lived a quiet life with her daughter, Cora and granddaughter, Mrs. Hazel Grant. Cora ran the Winthrop Hotel.³ She was buried on 2 January 1933 at Fort Jackson-Hopkinton Cemetery, St Lawrence Co, New York.^3,2
