     Richard Scott was born circa 1846 at Farnham, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 He was the son of Sylvester Scott and Ann Hawthorne.1 Richard Scott married Harriett Danforth circa 1868.2 Richard Scott died on 4 March 1914 at St Albans, Franklin Co, Vermont; The death record shows him aged 68-5-15 and married.1
     He appeared on the census of 25 April 1910 at St Albans, Franklin Co, Vermont; Richard R. Scott, 64, b. CAN, wife Harriett D., 65, married 42 years, and son Richard D., 32, b. CAN.2
