     Ebenezer Kelton was born on 17 June 1774 at Warwick, Franklin Co, Massachusetts. He married Phoebe Salls, daughter of Jacob Salls and Margaret Taylor, in 1800 at St Gabriel's Presbyterian, Montreal, Montreal Co, Quebec. Ebenezer Kelton died on 30 November 1813 at Vermont at age 39.1
     He appeared on the census; In 1810, Ebenezer Kelton was living in Calais, Caledonia Co, Vermont. Listed in Vermont pensioners in 1835 as his heirs are named:
