Carrie S. Salls

     Carrie S. Salls was born circa 1856 at St Lawrence Co, New York.¹ She was the daughter of Enoch Briggs Salls and Lovina C. Lillie.¹ Carrie S. Salls married Frank D. McCluskey.² Carrie S. Salls died on 8 September 1931 at Spokane, Washington; Carrie was educated in Potsdam schools and graduated from St Lawrence University in 1880. For many years, she and her husband, also a graduate of St Lawrence University, made their home in Lincoln, Nebraska where he was a prominent attorney. In later years, after Frank McCluskey died, she lived in Spokane, Washington, where her sister Lena Corby resided. There were no children or other relatives named, other than the mention of several cousins.² She was buried at Fairview Cemetery, St Lawrence Co, New York; Mrs. McCluskey was cremated and her ashes brought to Fairview Cemetery, where her late husband was.²
