Aaron C. Allison1

Aaron C. Allison was born in November 1851 at Champlain, Clinton Co, New York.1,2 He married Marietta Brush, daughter of Edward L. Brush and Sarahette Tryon, circa 1877 at New York.1 Aaron C. Allison died in 1932 at Clay Street, Malone, Franklin Co, New York.2
Aaron C. Allison moved to Stockholm from Champlain when he was a boy. In 1872 he went to West Boylston, Massachusetts where he was appointed station agent for the Worcester & Nashua Railroad. In 1877 he returned to St. Lawrence County, and married. After working for several other railroads in that area, he entered in to the confectionary business, and later real estate. He was involved in a large community built in Nokomis, Saskatchewan. A.C. also started a concrete business and spent a great deal of time in Florida during that land boom in the late 1920's, returning in September 1931 to Malone.2 He appeared on the census of 9 June 1900 at Malone, Franklin Co, New York; Aaron C. Allison, 48, Marietta, 45, married 23 years, with three children, all living: Orel E., 22, Benjamin R., 11, Charles B., 5; Mary A. Pierce, 33, was a boarder and Nelie Webster, 21, was a servant.1
