John Truax was born on 4 November 1808 at Farnham, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 He was the son of Abraham Truax and Jane Scott. John Truax was baptized on 1 January 1809 at Dunham, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.2 He married Catherine Truax on 30 December 1830 at Dunham, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.2 John Truax died circa 1888 at Hopkins, Allegan Co, Michigan.
