Phebe Salls was born circa 1831 at Brome, Brome Co, Quebec. She was the daughter of Abraham Salls Jr and Melinda McCoy. Phebe Salls married William Egglefield on 25 July 1871 at Sutton, Brome Co, Quebec; William and Phebe were both residents of Brome, Brome County, and he was a widower.¹ Phebe Salls died before 31 May 1891 at Brome Co, Quebec; Her daughter's baptism in 1891 states her parents as William and (the late) Phoebe.²
