Alexander Young

     Alexander Young was born on 11 December 1889 at Quebec.¹ He was the son of James Albertis Young and Mary A. Lavallee.¹ Alexander Young was baptized on 19 July 1894 at Fitch Bay Methodist, Fitch Bay, Stanstead Co, Quebec; Witnesses were listed as James A. Young and Mary La Vaille.² He married Elsie Colgrave on 29 October 1917 at Beebe, Stanstead Co, Quebec; The marriage was witnessed by Hazel Sheldon and Chester Young. Elsie was of Fitch Bay.³ Alexander Young married Minnie Gertrude McGovern on 23 December 1922 at Magog, Stanstead Co, Quebec.² Alexander Young died on 17 November 1974 at Sherbrooke, Sherbrooke Co, Quebec, at age 84; His obituary mentions he was the youngest of six children, all of whom predeceased him.^2,4 He was buried at Pine Hill Cemetery, Magog, Stanstead Co, Quebec.²
