     Charles F. Johnson was born in 1859 at Quincy, Norfolk Co, Massachusetts.3 He was the son of Jonathan Johnson. Charles F. Johnson married Sarah Jane Tallman, daughter of Dexter Tallman and Hannah Jeandreau, on 24 November 1892 at Lynn, Essex Co, Massachusetts.3,1 Charles F. Johnson died on 19 September 1936 at Fresno Co, California.4
     He appeared on the census of 4 May 1910 at Township 7, Fresno, California; Charles F. Johnson, 51 and Sarah J., 59 had been married for 17 years. It was Sarah's 2nd marriage, and she had no children.5
