Anna O'Brien was born circa August 1876.3 She married Irving Henry Covey, son of Albert Irvine Covey and Isabella Cornan, on 29 January 1902 at Malone, Franklin Co, New York.2,1 Anna O'Brien died on 2 May 1903 at Malone, Franklin Co, New York; "Mrs. Irving Covey , of Chateaugay, died at the home of Albert Covey, in this village on Saturday last, following an operation for appendicitis, aged 26 years and nine months. Mrs. Covey came to malone a week ago to care for her father-in-law, Albert I. Covey, who is seriously ill, and shortly after arriving here she was taken with severe pain in her side. A doctor was called and pronounced her trouble to be appendicitis, and an operation was found to be necessary. The operation was performed Friday evening and she died Saturday morning. She leaves a husband and one child, an infant four months old, surviving. The husband, who is employed in the Chateaugay pulp mill has the heartfelt sympathy of many friends in his sad bereavement.
