Stanley Elwood Daley was born on 4 August 1904 at Lancaster, Saint John Co, New Brunswick; Stanley's father, Walter, wrote on his petition for naturalization in 1917 that Stanley was born in Boston. But, upon inspection of the document, it was registered in Cambridge, but states he was born in New Brunswick.1,2,3 He was the son of Walter Seth Daley and Retta Maxwell.1
