Daniel James Tallman was born on 22 November 1845 at Hemmingford, Huntingdon Co, Quebec. He was the son of Daniel S. Tallman and Delia Stringer. Daniel James Tallman was baptized on 8 February 1846 at Episcopal Congregation of St. Remi, St Remi, Quebec. He died before 1851 at Quebec; Daniel James was not listed during the 1851 census enumeration.1
