     Clark A. Patterson was born circa 1828 at Vermont. He was the son of Danforth Patterson and Hannah Aldridge. Clark A. Patterson married Helen M. Hastings, daughter of Shubael Hastings and Rhoda ? (?), on 28 August 1851 at Brandon, Franklin Co, New York. Clark A. Patterson died on 11 March 1879 at Bangor, Franklin Co, New York; Death notice indicated he was age 52, leaving a wife, and one son Heman J., of Minneapolis.1 He was buried at Keeler Cemetery, Bangor, Franklin Co, New York.2
     The Grantee Index for Clinton County, NY shows one land transaction that Clark was involved in: 1868, from G.L. Havens, Asst (57-509).
