Levi Patterson

     Levi Patterson was born. He was the son of John Patterson Jr and Rebecca (?). Levi Patterson married Keziah Horton, daughter of Elijah Horton, on 28 October 1784 at Sandgate, Bennington Co, Vermont; Sandgate Congregational Church. Levi Patterson died before 14 March 1816 at Washington Co, New York; His father-in-law's will made 4 March 1816 said Keziah was Levi's widow.¹
     Very little is known about Levi Patterson. We know he did die before March of 1816 because the Will of his father-in-law states Keziah was a widow at that time. Even his children are not known as no birth or baptismal records have been located. Levi and Keziah are listed as parents on the death certificate of Jehiel Patterson, but the other children listed as theirs is guesswork on the part of the writer.
