Grace Elliott Thomas was born on 6 May 1861 at Mispec, Saint John Co, New Brunswick. She was the daughter of George S. Thomas and Jane Stewart. Grace Elliott Thomas married Thomas V. Shillington on 28 October 1891 at Mispec, Saint John Co, New Brunswick; The Daily Telegraph: Rev. I.N. Parker was called upon Wednesday eve. to unite Thomas V. Shellington, farmer of Silver Falls (St. John) and Grace Elliott Thomas d/o Geo. S. Thomas. Mispec. The ceremony was solemnized at the residence of the bride's parents. Miss Bella C. Thomas attended as bridesmaid. The groom was supported by Fred Brown.1 Grace Elliott Thomas died on 26 December 1940 at Saint John Co, New Brunswick, at age 79.2
