Phoebe Ann Hoose

     Phoebe Ann Hoose was born on 3 September 1809 at Caldwell's Manor, (now Missisquoi Co), Quebec.¹ She was the daughter of Henry Hoose and Deborah Manning. Phoebe Ann Hoose was baptized on 22 October 1815 at St George's Anglican Church, Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.² She married Jehiel Patterson, son of Levi Patterson and Keziah Horton, in 1825. Phoebe Ann Hoose died on 22 January 1906 at Georgia, Franklin Co, Vermont, at age 96; Died aged 95 yrs 4 mos and 18 days of senile debility.³ She was buried at St Albans, Franklin Co, Vermont.³
     She appeared on the census of 15 June 1880 at Georgia, Franklin Co, Vermont; Phebe A. Patterson, aged 66, tailoress, b. Canada, and mother-in-law, was living with her daughter Lydia Jane and her husband William Anderson. She was b. Canada, father b. NY and mother b. VT.⁴
