     Seth Squires was born circa 1804 at New Brunswick.1 He was the son of Jabesh Caleb Squires and Martha Hammond.1 Seth Squires married Sarah Fulton on 1 April 1829 at York Co, New Brunswick; Seth was of the parish of Kent in York Co, and Sarah was of the parish pf Wakefield, also in York Co.2,1 Seth Squires married Mary Cromwell on 6 January 1849 at New Brunswick; Seth Squires was of the parish of Kent County, of Carleton and Mary Cromwell was of the parish of Perth, same county. The marriage waey were married with consent of friends: A.C. Hammond and G.F. Hammond.3,1 Seth Squires died on 27 January 1869 at Upper Kent, Carleton Co, New Brunswick.1,4 He was buried at Upper Kent Cemetery, Upper Kent, Carleton Co, New Brunswick.5
     Seth Squires and his first wife had eight children before she died in 1846. The family lived in Upper Kent, Carleton Co. He had no issue by his second wife.1,5
