Moses Scott was born circa 1798 at New Brunswick.2 He was the son of John Scott and Martha Bennett.1
On 10 Jun 1819, Moses Scott, cooper, sold land in Lot #513, on the east side of Saint John Harbour, to Joseph "Dayley" for £50.3 Moses Scott appeared on the census of 1851 at Studholm, Kings Co, New Brunswick; George Lester, 26, bachelor; Thomas Lester, 16, his brother; Moses Scott, lodger, 54, and Gideon Hallet, 54, Lodger. They were living in a camp, rather than a house.2
