A. Norman Jones

     A. Norman Jones was born on 28 March 1908 at Hutchinson, Reno Co, Kansas.¹ He married Adelaide Smith, daughter of Henry Boardman Smith and Mary A. Bennett, in 1931.¹ A. Norman Jones died on 6 July 1935 at Massena, St Lawrence Co, New York, at age 27; Norman Jones died in a tragic fishing accident while on vacation for the Fourth of July weekend. He drowned in the swift rapids at Hawkins Point in the St Lawrence River,and his body was recovered on Wednesday near Cornwall, about 12-15 miles away.¹ He was buried on 12 July 1935 at Rochester, Monroe Co, New York; Funeral was held from the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry B. Smith.¹
