     Henry A. Salls was born circa 1827 at Quebec.1 He was the son of Hix Salls and Mary Permelia Curtis.1 Henry A. Salls married Mary Ann Shampine, daughter of John Shampine and Rosanna (?).1 Henry A. Salls died on 4 May 1866 at St Lawrence Co, New York.2,1 He was buried at Jenkins Neighborhood Cemetery, Stockholm, St Lawrence Co, New York.2
     He appeared on the census of 1860 at Stockholm, St Lawrence Co, New York; Henry A. Salls, 33, Mary Ann, 24, Willis, 6, Emily, 4, and infant, 1 month.3
