     Harriett Elizabeth Salls was born on 28 August 1870 at West Stockholm, St Lawrence Co, New York.1 She was the daughter of Frederick Samuel Salls and Jane Gibson.1 Harriett Elizabeth Salls married Michael Hayes on 20 December 1890 at Pierrepoint, St Lawrence Co, New York; They were both of Colton and were married by Rev. William Whitfield.2,1 Harriett Elizabeth Salls died on 24 April 1951 at Colton, St Lawrence Co, New York, at age 80.1 She was buried at Pleasant Mound Cemetery, Colton, St Lawrence Co, New York.1
