     Harriet Eugenia McCulloch was born on 8 July 1861 at New Lebanon, Columbia Co, New York; Her death certificate listed her birthplace as Peoria, but the family was still in New York at that time. Her marriage certificate to Henry Nieman lists New Lebanon.^1,2 She was the daughter of Nathaniel McCulloch and Sarah M Salls. Harriet Eugenia McCulloch married William G. Pearce on 19 January 1879 at Rochester, Monroe Co, New York; William Pearce was of Rochester, New York, and Harriot's residence was unlisted on the website entry. No ages were given.³ Harriet Eugenia McCulloch married Henry W. Nieman on 21 September 1882 at Rochester, Monroe Co, New York; Henry Nieman was 55 yrs old, of Peterboro, New Hampshire, and this was his 4th marriage. Hattie was 21 years old, bor New Lebanon, New York, and it was her 2nd marriage. They were married by J.S. Maynard.^1,4 Harriet Eugenia McCulloch married James Stillman, son of Amos B. Stillman and Margaret Reynolds, on 19 April 1890 at McLean Co, Illinois.^5,6,2 Harriet Eugenia McCulloch died on 21 September 1937 at Limestone, Peoria Co, Illinois, at age 76; Her residence was given as Peoria, Peoria Co, Illinois.⁷ She was buried on 24 September 1937 at Park Hill Cemetery, Bloomington, McLean Co, Illinois.^2,8
     She and James Stillman appeared on the census of 1900 at Bloomington, McLean Co, Illinois; James Stillman, 42, Hattie, 38,both b. New York; and Harry B., 16, b. Illinois. It states that Hattie was the mother of two childrem both still living.⁶
