Martha Harper

     Martha Harper was born on 10 February 1869 at North Carolina; I assume the birth day of February 10 to be correct, but her death certificate lists the year as 1875. The year has to be closer to 1869 as she appeared as a one year old child in the 1870 census.^2,1,3 She was the daughter of Jesse H. Harper and Elmira Elizabeth Sharpe.¹ Martha Harper married Charles Bryson before 1910 at North Carolina.⁴ Martha Harper died on 9 July 1933 at Gastonia, Gaston Co, North Carolina, at age 64; Martha Brison was listed as the daughter of Jessie Harper and Elizabeth Sharp, the widow of Charley Brison. Her date of birth was given as 10 Feb 1875, however this can't be correct since she was present on the 1870 census.²
