Thomas Baker Crosby married Polly Salls, daughter of Isaac Salls and Margaret Doubleday, on 5 September 1826 at Canaan, Columbia Co, New York; Some records point to Mrs. Mary "Polly" Salls as Thomas' 2nd wife, rather than Polly, dau of Isaac and Margaret. But, his War of 1812 Pension Application indicates his wife's maiden name was Polly Salts.1,2 Thomas Baker Crosby died on 8 February 1872 at Libertyville, Lake Co, Illinois.2
Thomas Crosby enlisted in the service on 18 Aug 1814, and he served with Capt R.R. Wilbur's Company of NY Militia. He was discharged 3 Dec 1814.2
