Elizabeth Thomas

     Elizabeth Thomas was born circa 1786 at Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick; Her death notice states she was aged 76. Her notice in the Intelligencer (transcribed by Dan Johnson) reads she was 70 years old. But the same paper reads she came during the American War with her parents, which would have been June of 1783.^1,2,3 She was the daughter of Thomas Thomas and Mary (?). Elizabeth Thomas married John Gordon.¹ Elizabeth Thomas died on 7 February 1856 at Dutch Valley, Sussex, Kings Co, New Brunswick; The Religious Intelligencer mentions she came during the American War with her parents, ___(unreadable) and Mary Thomas.^1,2
