     Marshall Richard Wait was born before 10 April 1604 at Lincolnshire, England.1 He was christened on 10 April 1604 at Rigsby-With-Ailby, Lincolnshire, England.1 He was the son of Richard Wait and Margaret Carter.1 Marshall Richard Wait married Elizabeth (?) before 1637 at Boston, Suffolk Co, Massachusetts.1 Marshall Richard Wait married Rebecca Hepbourne between 1651 and 1653.1 Marshall Richard Wait died on 17 September 1680 at Boston, Suffolk Co, Massachusetts.1 He was buried at King's Chapel, Boston, Suffolk Co, Massachusetts.1
     Richard was said to be a tailor in Boston. On 1658 he obtained a grant of 300 acres from the General Court situated in what is now Framingham for his service in the Pequot War. He was made a Freeman 9 Mar 1636/7.1
