Phillippe de Lannoy was born on 7 December 1602 at Leiden, Holland; Phillippe migrated on the Fortune to join his uncle Francis Cooke and his cousin Robert at Plymouth colony in 1621, having been left behind when the Speedwell leaked and returned to port in England leaving the Mayflower to sail alone.
He arrived at Plymouth, Massachusetts on November 9, 1621 on the second Pilgrim ship, Fortune.
Philippe is the progenitor of the branch of the Delano family from which Franklin Delano Roosevelt descends.1 He was the son of Jay Lano. Phillippe de Lannoy died on 22 August 1681 at Bridgewater, Massachusetts, at age 78.1
