     Rachel Mead was born on 3 June 1784 at New York.1 She was the daughter of Timothy Mead and Phoebe Crippen. Rachel Mead married Dyer Wait, son of Jonathan Wait and Eleanor (?), circa 1804. Rachel Mead died on 15 January 1859 at Commerce, Oakland Co, Michigan, at age 74.2
