Mary Hunt

     Mary Hunt was born on 28 September 1664 at Concord, Middlesex Co, Massachusetts.² She was the daughter of Nehemiah Hunt and Mary Toll.² Mary Hunt married Thomas Wood, son of Thomas Wood and Ann Hunt, on 26 June 1683 at Rowley, Essex Co, Massachusetts.^1,3,2 Mary Hunt married Dr Simon Davis, son of Simon Davis Sr and Mary Blood, on 19 October 1714 at Concord, Middlesex Co, Massachusetts.² Mary Hunt died at Massachusetts.¹ She died on 7 November 1754 at Mansfield, Tolland Co, Connecticut, at age 90.² Her estate was probated on 27 January 1755 at Windham Co, Connecticut; The will names so many and clears up and confusion: her daughter Mary Pearson, her husband Daniel, and their son Ephraim; her son Thomas and his son Nehemiah; grandchildren Samuel Wood, Joseph Wood, Rebecca Russ, Anne Upham and Thankful Upham (children of her deceased son Samuel); the two children Gideon Abbe had by her granddaughter Mary Wood (deceased daughter of Samuuel); daughter Mehitable Hall and James, William, Thomas, Ephraim, Gershom and Joseph hall; her daughter Ann Sergeant; her daughter Hannah, wife of Cordial Storrs; and her grandchildren Philip Turner and Elizabeth Burrows, children of her deceased daughter Elizabeth by Philip Turner.⁴
     She left a will on 3 January 1754 at Windham Co, Connecticut; Her will named her as Mary Davis, but it's unlikely he spent much time with Simon Davis. Her executor was given as Cordial Storrs, son-in-law.⁴
